Life can be hard and "raggedy" at times—I know and I get it. For some, reaching out for help might be the last thing you want to do. But I would love to walk with you on your journey to healing. Would you believe me if I told you that the answers you are seeking are already within you? I am here to be your guide and a safe place where you can discover these answers. There is so much more in store for you than the current narrative you've been rehearsing to yourself.
I have a passion for “meeting people where they are” by providing crisis management, solution-focused therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy. My goal is to offer quality services and support those facing a wide range of issues, including trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, and stress management.
I believe that therapy can help identify the root of recurring issues that challenge your well-being. Together, we can work on developing healthy coping skills and gaining awareness that can lead to lasting change.
As I began the process of starting my practice, I knew that the name had to represent the services I wanted to provide. I believe that coping skills are good and needed for many situations. However, identifying the root of the thing is essential in healing trauma. How did we get here? When did this start? This is how we heal the root of a thing. Have you ever pulled off a piece of a plant but noticed the remainder continued to grow? Imagine if you were to pull it up from the root. It is now completely displaced. Healing roots aren't easily done. Sometimes it may even feel like heart surgery but there is safety in allowing someone trained and compassionate to do the work WITH you. There is more to life than placing a bandage over something that needs root healing. You've been coping but have you been healing?
